We are talking about changing a network setting and taking the risk of downloading a file to change MTU is just plain stupid. No the topic was changing the MTU on windows and Linux. You suggested downloading a file. My statement is that that is an unreasonable risk to CHANGE A SETTING.

Maybe they "fixed" this problem. i take it the VPN is not a hardware device in the path, or you can't change its settings? you could setup a ppp The VPN is a hardware device in the path, but we cannot change it because it is servicing not just this customer but all of our enterprise customers that use VPN.

Hello all, I am looking for a way to change the mtu for ppp and pppoe in an IM driver. I am using the MUX example in the DDK. I know about the ProtocolMTU registry value.
